International Affairs

The Department of International Affairs and its associated agencies assist both diocesan Bishops and the Bishops' Conference in developing their policy on international affairs.

Now more than ever we see, at close hand, human suffering, injustices and violence effecting people in many countries, be they Christian or not. On behalf of the bishops of England and Wales, the Department of International Affairs works to promote peace, justice and solidarity throughout the world.

OFFICE FOR REFUGEE POLICY

The Office for Refugee Policy (ORP) monitors information and prepares briefs on migration to enable the bishops to develop policy and respond to debates.
