The Work of the Department for Evangelisation and Catechesis can be found in the Catholic Life and National Work sections of this website.
The Department of Evangelisation and Catechesis helps Catholics to understand and live out their faith by following Christ's command to spread the Good News of the Gospel. This task is fulfilled by the departments’ bishops, committees and agencies.
The department is made up of the Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation (CASE), the Catholic Communications Network (CCN), Catholic Youth Services (CYS) and the National Project - 'Living and Sharing Our Faith.'

Recent events organised by CYS include Oct ’06, a large weekend forum in Birmingham exploring faith issues specifically from a youth perspective. Preparations are currently underway for the next global gathering of Catholic Youth at World Youth Day in Sydney in 2008.
