Caritas - social action

Caritas - social action is the voice of the Catholic Church on social justice and care in England and Wales. It is an agency of the Bishops' Conference with responsibility for carrying out the social mission of the Church in England and Wales. It was born out of the amalgamation of the Catholic Agency for Social Concern, Catholic Child Welfare Council and the CBCEW Social Welfare Committee.
