Spirituality Committee

Terms of Reference

  • To advise the Bishops’ Conference on matters relating to spirituality
  • To respond to requests from the Conference.
  • To gather information about the provision for spirituality in England and Wales.
  • To work with (and bring together) key groups both within the Church and ecumenically.
  • To explore the relationship between liturgy and spirituality.
  • To disseminate good practice.
  • To investigate issues of accreditation.

Jenny Bond

Member of the Christian Life Community, trained in Ignatian spirituality and retreat-giving, works as Churches Together in England’s Field Officer for the North and Midlands.

Susy Brouard

Susy Brouard

Works as Justice Spirituality facilitator for CAFOD, trained in Ignatian spirituality and retreat-giving, special interest and experience in adult education and formation.

Mark Davis

Mark Davis

Facilitator, trainer and principal consultant at ‘The Shoreline Consultancy’ - supporting and developing Christian communities.

Kevin McGinnell

Kevin McGinnell

Secretary, parish priest in Northampton diocese, with responsibility for education and formation, involved also in ecumenical liturgical work and spirituality

David O'Malley

David O'Malley

Salesian priest, school chaplain in Thornleigh College, Bolton. Vice Provincial, qualified youth worker and teacher.

Diane Reynolds

Sister of St Andrew whose community runs the spirituality centre at Edenbridge, member of Churches Together in England’s Spirituality Co-ordinating Group, member of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland’s Living Spirituality Network, spiritual director, gives retreats.
