Catholic Societies

Love in action – that’s an essential part of Gospel living. That’s why Catholics get involved in voluntary work – whether that means serving the homeless, prisoners, young people, the missions, or pro-life work, campaigning for justice and peace or racial justice.

A wide variety of spiritual associations exist too, offering information on retreats, pilgrimages and prayer. A number of professional and vocational clubs offer spiritual support and fellowship to Catholics working in careers including medicine, education, the arts, the law, the Police and the theatre.
