That's exactly the calling Fr Lombardi works hard to fulfill as director of Vatican Radio, CTV - the Vatican's television channel, and the Holy See's press office.
When we met with Fr Lombardi, he'd just arrived in London from Rome - and this less than 24 hours after accompanying Pope Benedict to the Holy Land for an eight-day pilgrimage to the region of Christ's birth and ministry.
In this podcast, Fr Lombardi discusses his role, working with the Holy Father, YouTube and the use of new media and the future of communications and the impact this will have on the Church.
