Faith and Culture Symposium
The Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation (CASE) hosted a Faith and Culture Symposium on 5 October 2009.
Part of the remit of the Agency is to engage in the dialogue between faith and culture, and to support the Catholic Community to do the same.
This Symposium provided a space for those engaged in academic reflection on faith and culture, and those engaged in new expressions of mission - including new movements - to meet to share insights and experiences. The theme of the gathering was:
‘Meeting Jesus in late Modern Culture – the Gift of our Sacramental Tradition for Evangelisation’.
A number of Symposium resources are now available. It is hoped that the sharing of the ideas and insights gained will support effective sharing of the Gospel in England and Wales.
