Police chiefs, bishops and members of government gathered for the Santa Marta Group conference on human trafficking at Lancaster House, London from 5 - 6 December.

Both days opened with special prayers for the victims, survivors and all those working in the field of combating human trafficking and modern slavery.

On Friday 5 December, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland, offered the prayer before the first plenary session.

The following morning, Saturday 6 December, the prayer was offered by Archbishop Stephen Brislin, Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa.
