Projects

The Friends of the Holy Land support a number of projects in Israel, Palestine and Jordan

There are many international agencies that can provide finance for major developments. The Friends work to assist in providing the resources for the smaller developments that can make a major difference within a busy school, parish, community or housing situation.

Projects currently under consideration which would provide income for local tradesmen and benefit to the parishioners include items for:

- Beit Jala: Church; Presbytery; Parish Community and Youth activities
- Bir Zeit: Parish Meeting Room
- Ramallah: Sacristy
- Aboud: Church entrance
- Jaffa Nazareth: Completion of Church Building
- Patriarchate: Re-furbishment of benches in Con Cathedral (involving monks from Beit Jamal)

We are also supporting the development of a Day Care Centre in Bethlehem for the elderly and infirm. This is through a local Bethlehem organisation "Care and Repair".
